NURSING

Clients, families and others are all active partners throughout the Nursing Care process. Our nurses make every effort to inform clients, families, caregivers and others about the proposed treatment so that they can participate fully in treatment decisions. All of our RNs and RPNs are registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

We will work with the Community Care Access Centre, family doctors, home support services, community agencies and other health care providers to ensure that our clients and their families receive the relevant care and services required. Our nurses are flexible with schedules.

The confidentiality and privacy of our clients is respected. Information in the medical file will be provided only to designate persons with your consent, or under legal orders. Our Management team will answer your questions and will listen to any feedback, concerns or complaints you may have and ensure an atmosphere of mutual trust and agreement.

Nightingale offers a comprehensive list of nursing services. Although many of our nursing services are provided through the CCAC, nursing services may be covered by insurance plans and can be purchased privately.

Our own specialty-trained staff are able to provide a wide range of other services to meet the specific needs of our clients as required. Individual Care Plans are developed in consultation with the client and the client's family, when appropriate.
